Waiting Well

“Waiting Well”

Waiting means, staying where one is, delaying action until a particular time or until something happens. Waiting always feels like it’s in vain. Waiting is one thing most people don’t enjoy. We live in an instant society. Everything we do today is so fast until we barely know how to wait anymore, much less wait well. Some of the most beautiful outcomes were in part as a result of waiting well. There’s a blessing in waiting well.

What are you consciously waiting on right now? Are you waiting for your business to take off? Are you waiting for a better job? Are you waiting for a deal to close? Are you waiting for a shift/change in your situation?

What are you doing while you’re waiting for your change? Are you complaining and whining? Are you out of faith, angry, irritable and feeling sorry for yourself?

How Do We Wait Well?

• Stop Complaining, whining, being angry, etc

• Know That God Has Not Lost Track of You

• Know That He Hasn’t Let Go & He’s Not Tired

• Keep Working On Your Plans/Dreams

• Keep Being Positive In Your Words & Thoughts

• Keep Believing That All is Working Out For Your Good

• Keep Moving Forward

• Meditate On The Word of God

Isaiah 40:31 The Message (MSG)

27-31 Why would you ever complain, O Jacob,

or, whine, Israel, saying,

“GOD has lost track of me.

He doesn’t care what happens to me”?

Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening?

GOD doesn’t come and go. God lasts.

He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.

He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.

And he knows everything, inside and out.

He energizes those who get tired,

gives fresh strength to dropouts.

For even young people tire and drop out,

young folk in their prime stumble and fall.

But those who wait upon GOD get fresh strength.

They spread their wings and soar like eagles,

They run and don’t get tired,

they walk and don’t lag behind.

Psalm 27:14 The Message (MSG)

13-14 I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness

in the exuberant earth.

Stay with GOD!

Take heart. Don’t quit.

I’ll say it again:

Stay with GOD.

The Benefits of Waiting Well:

• You’ll Get Fresh Strength From God

• You’ll Soar Like An Eagle

• You’ll Run & Not Get Tired; You’ll Catch Up With Those Are Were Ahead of You

• You’ll Walk & Not Lag Behind

Your waiting is not in vain, so wail well!

Live L-I-V-E,!
